Here is the Friday Schedule for 2014.

The basic challenge for Friday is to get to the pub and campsite, get the tent pitched and get the kettle on and find a few mates to start chatting to and reminisce about last year!

Friday Schedule

Registration will open from about 16:30 as the BlokeFest Inner Circle blokes finally manage to drag themselves away from their humdrum existences doing whatever they do when they are not manning their clipboards and being super efficient organizers.

It is at this point that Blokes will need to pay off the balance of what is owning to ensure they get the prized "Festival Bracelet" that entitles them to hours of Blokey fun, and also pick up any Souvenirs they have pre-ordered and sorted out any other logistics regarding pre-ordering food.

There will be a convivial drifting in and out of the pub for the occasional loosener and much muttering about what everyone has been up to this past few months.

The Gathering of the Clan will begin from about 18:00 when the organizers will start to get a bit twitchy as not everyone has appeared and they can see a few laggards struggling to put up a tent that they really should have checked the weekend before but were just "too busy".  At about 18:45 the Cat Herding begins trying to encourage blokes to stop whatever they are doing and get on the bloomin' coach that is waiting down the lane for us.  Then begins the spectacular Magical Mystery Tour as we try to navigate a massive 50+ seater coach through tiny Cotswold Wiltshire lanes that lead us to The Crofton Beam Engines.

Pre-ordered substantial sustenance and bottles of frothing Kennet & Avon ale await us along with a warm welcome as we swell the crowd  for guided tours and the like.  We'll grab a first drink and sing a song or two before clambering back on the Coach, singing songs from the BlokeFest Song Book before a final visit to the Pub for a semi-organized Darts tournament (it would be rude not to!) and then bedding down for the night.
