Meal Options for BlokeFest 2014
We know many things are important to have a good time and good FOOD in good time is one of them. You don't have to join in the communal meals but they are included in the ticket price.
This year we are working hard to cope with expanded numbers and the desire to improve catering and ensure that everyone gets what they want to eat in a timely manner.
To help us get you served the right food as quickly as possible, we need you to commit to some options so we can let our caterers know accurate numbers well in advance of the event. Thus, we ask you to fill out this very short form, but PLEASE READ THE OPTIONS VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING!!
Friday Night
For Friday Nighters visiting the Crofton Beam Engine you will be offered a choice of Meat Pasty or Veg/Gluten-Free Jacket Spud - space is limited so you will be ushered in and out of the restaurant area before or after your first Beer or Tour.
Crofton pastie. Traditional beef and vegetable pasty served with salad, coleslaw and caramelized onion chutney.
For the Jacket Spud there will be a range of fillings to be selected on the night.
If you want more, you can buy more once everyone has been fed.
If you want to eat at the pub, you will need to pre-book with them by Wednesday 11th June at the latest.
The Bruce Arms will also be offering a "BlokeFest Special" but you need to pre-book - details below.
Saturday
We are planning to fuel an "all day Barbeque" but it will be your responsibility to do the cooking (and not burn, yourself or anyone or anything else!) - this will be available for breakfast, otherwise it is DIY or the pub are offering a pre-booked breakie.
Saturday lunch is again BBQ or DIY or the pub are offering a pre-booked meal.
Saturday Evening meal is catered and needs to be pre-selected in advance.
Sunday
Again we are planning to fuel a Barbeque but it will be your responsibility to do the cooking - this will be available for breakfast, otherwise it is DIY or the pub are offering a pre-booked breakie.
